This is an estimate of the average time that patients who had their procedure this month, waited for their treatment. It assumes that 1 in 20 patients waited longer than this time for treatment.
The average wait time generally varies by speciality, so some specialities will have shorter average wait times, and for other specialities the average wait time will be longer.
