BMI laboratories provide teams of fully qualified HPC (Health Professions Council) registered biomedical scientists skilled in advanced laboratory diagnosis and monitoring.
We have 21 laboratories across the UK providing a wide portfolio of routine and specialist services including haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, histopathology and cytology.
Quality Management
Our pathology services are part of the BMI National Quality System which oversees the development and implementation of quality management across all laboratories. This is undertaken in accordance with appropriate accreditation and regulatory bodies, such as CPA and MHRA.
Referrals
We offer competitive prices and turnaround times and have the ability to tailor the service to your needs. If you would like to make a referral please contact your nearest BMI hospital. You will be directed to a local BMI Pathology Manager who will give you details on sample handling, requesting and reporting.
